On page 14 of that dusty relic, you would have found a new writer making his debut from the ranks of county cricket. The then Northamptonshire off spinner, Graeme Swann, had agreed to produce a monthly diary about life on the treadmill. Now, we knew he was a bit of a card, a bit unconventional.
